Quite simple.
Instead of staring at one line chart I stare at two…
They are very much correlated most of the time, but sometimes they don’t.
When they don’t correlate, and in opposite direction within the same bar – the “Close” price will move almost immediatly to the “sentiment” line.

I think that your thoughts are “bounded” by the line chart and the close.
Isn’t there another way to draw price chart?
Maybe that “other way” is also quite accurate in presentation of price movement.
…and what if the “close” price contradict the direction of the “other way” chart?

This is wrong assumption to start with.
Gap between previous close and current open could happen, and many times it is, because of signal or feed delay between last close and current open.

Your definition is correct, but I’m not using any tick average although it might work too. I didn’t test it.

Hi Brother,
Since my renko chart default is my invented geo renko (1/8 th step of brick length that will create 45 / 315 degrees angles). So, 1 turning point from bullish brick to bearish brick v.v. will need 16 bricks or 32 bricks for complete cycle. so, for TZ in renko you can set your wing (h) as 8, 16 or 32, but I prefer 16. No matter th…[Read more]

Hi Brother, the length of h is relative to conditions..
but you could use common sense to select your h. The default setting h =21 is for Daily chart, as we know that 1 month trading days is around 21 days averagely.
M15 h=16, M30 h=8, and H1 h=4, meaning each wing forming 4 hours candle.. , so one TZ will has length of 8 hours or…[Read more]

1. I consider a candle that the sentiment (or “true” value) is in opposite direction to the Close.
2. Trade should be placed immediately on bars close that confirm #1.
3. Depends on TF, but almost always within just 1 or few bars.
4. No connection to the similarity/Disimilarity (which is just another fancy name for waves, in my opinion).

I only use candles in cases of electric power failure, and to reduce babies fever. That’s where they belong.

Hi Brother, nice to see your post here…
Yes, TVI is lag indicator (the peak and valley markers). they will appear after 2 candles. We could use this TVI as our price cycle references (the MTF version), by looking at higher TF, and the markers will still effective in trending market (big cycle curve).
hope it help and best regards

Market sentiment or “True” value is embedded within each bar.
When the sentiment or value contradict the “Close” price – the sentiment will “Win” and the price will correct itself, almost immediatly.
