Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoHi my friend,
My opinion:1) It will be better, like most of indicator calculation based on “candle close”
2) No, but we can use “fractal close” indicator in attachment
3) No, may be we can use “zz close” or create something similar indicator looking at close pricesmallcat replied to the topic How to: Creation of Fractal Arrow Indi in the forum

Following a conversation with Smallcat: it seems that there are some misundestanding about the basic logic.
A “VALID” FRACTAL is an un-interupted sequence of 5 bars with a known pattern. No “gaps” are alowed in a valid fractal.
Gaps creates a “broken” chain. If the sequence is broken – there can’t be a…[Read more]

ZZ is a sequence of valid fractals, that starts and ends with a fractal. It’s Ok to have gaps in a ZZ.

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoAwesome! Now just need to tweak the logic to make it work

You may need to adjust things on both ends (node.js app and MT4 code).

What is your defintion of a “miss” for adaptability?
For example arrow points down.
If one of 3 bars before or after the arrow has a higher High than the arrow?

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoHi SaverO, Thank you very much. My mistake was not turning the load_data set to false after loading the database.
Here is the screenshot of Node.js and my chat with arrow. Thanks

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoCan you please show me a screenshot of the Node.js app right after you start it up again. This should be after the data is already in the database. Once your database is loaded, there is no need to populate it again. Then just attach the indicator with load_data set to false to test for arrows anytime after the end_time.

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoThis is how my screen looks before and after i attached the Fractals Arrow Indicator. There is communication between MT4 and mysql. My database is populated.
But no Fractal Arrow is showing on my screen.dtlase replied to the topic Installation & Getting started guide in the forum
Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoHello SaveO, here is my screen shot. I am still wondering why it is not showing arrow. Thank you for your time and effort.

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 4 months agoAwesome!! Very happy to have another coder work on it

I want to let you know that the MT4 part, I was testing out a few things and the state it’s in is not ideal. Like the way it figures out the current fractal/zigzag pattern before sending it to Node.js app may not be correct. There could be couple of things you could do to do…[Read more]
