On trade EXIT and true COMPOUNDING:
1. DON’T use TP. the market is deaf and doesn’t listen to your hopes and prayers…
2. Start trading with small lot, and continously use fixed lot sizes.
3. Entries are according to CS, Tick-Volume & Volume.
4. Enter as close as possible to the Tick-Volume phase change (going from negative to positive).

How is S&p or Russel correlated to Forex? USDx sure is. I’ll try it. Dow is ~inverse correlated to EURUSD.
Thanks.

After a loooong silence here: the skeleton (or Alpha ver.) of an NN is ready.
It’s based on ENCOG NN framework (thanks SaverO…) and .Net C#.
Currently testing daily prediction of EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD. Results looks good.
BUT: I think I need at least one more daily data, related to Forex, but outside from that market. I thought about the…[Read more]

ACTUAL price movement from Open to Close of that movement. Anything in between is meaningless. It’s just time-lapse “photography”…
BTW: this is Off-topic, just a added remark to simplex “sessions” evaluation. If interested by other others, Open different thread on that topic.

True Bars/Candles and Market Sentiment
The attached screenshot is a true bar/candle representation of market movements, regardless of time.
As you can see, from the leftmost blue “candle” the market sentiment is DOWN.
Each UP (blue candle) didn’t succeed to move beyond ~half (or 50%) of the previous major move.
Market setiment is regarded as…[Read more]

My “Complicated” way of doing this is an indicator that just draw vertical dotted lines at each session start…
The session related MA is an answer to the Asian related currencies. The Volume will signal and reach a lower MA that currently is too high, causing missing valid trades.

Exit is also done by what you have on your screen right now, no need to reduce TF’s – and certainly don’t use price lagging CCI.
BTW – the CCI exit in your video happend one bar later (100 cross down).
I can show you again via Skype.

I stated the @18:00 as Currencies relative position, not as trading recommendation.
What is your broker’s GMT time offset ? (I want to check the same on my charts)

I think that we have some misunderstanding here…
Never mind the previous positions and slopes: in terms of absolute values – @18:00 does the CAD the Strongest and the GBP is the weakest of all 8 currencies?
If YES – everything is Ok. If NOT, the indicator is misleading (in my point of view, at least).

BIG YES and TRUE.
Bars or candles are just a “time-lapse” representation of market action and there is no other meaning to their “patterns” and “rules”…
I know that this seems and sounds a very un-orthodox statement, but that’s the fact.
For every bar/candle “pattern rule” I can show you two that the “rule” is not valid.
Those candle/bar…[Read more]

A “turn” on the road is equivalent to direction change in Forex, and not to my example in that post (post #8333).
In that example/post there are 3 cars, with their relevant “position” (location, relevant to the “road”), each with its own “speed”.
The indicator should show a current and accurate “snapshot” of those cars position on that “…[Read more]
