Simplex,
Here is same pair & TF as your screenshot.
This time I marked the “crosses” (nearest bar when the indicator cross the “0” line) on both Gadi_Currencies and the Spaghetti.
As you can see, The Spaghetti is more responsive by at least one bar, and sometimes more, in almost every case.

That @FF version uses the same “Delta” calculation, which is lagging by at least one or more bars.
If you are arriving at the same results – I think that you are doing something similiar, regardless of the “smoothing”.
As you can see from my previous posted screenshot – the latest version is more “predictive” simply by changing the wrong…[Read more]

It’s somewhere on “Killing Zone” @FF.
I don’t have it anymore, only newer versions.

Setting dynamic levels for OB/OS:
Determine current Highest/Lowest currency and set OB/OS levels as xx% of it.

Here is a sample (on GBPUSD – highlighted for comparison) of std. Spaghetti (Top indie – calculating movement delta similiar to FXcorrelator) and the other (bottom indie) keeping the delta as is and enhancing/smoothing the end result.
As you can see the bottom indie is more responsive – and that’s the whole point: making it more and more…[Read more]

Can you make a pic comparison between Gadi_Currencies_Diff against yours (preferably same colors for lines and DIFF)?
Thanks,

Video #30 – Good one !!
I found out, from experience, that Gadi_OBV is often much better than Bid/Offer published data.
Bare in mind that this indie is not just for Asian-Breakout. You can set it up minutes before important news and trade the breakout. Same goes for any other obvious consolidation area.
Doing so will prevent entering “false”…[Read more]

One of the most important things in using the CS is the DIFF. Especially when one currency is above “0” and the other under it.
So I suggest using the Adaptive MA on the DIFF, which should be less “rugged”.

“Smothing” : FXCorrelator is calculating the “Delta” as { iMA(pair,t-1) – iMA(pair,t) }. this introduce double lagging to the “Delta” due to the MA on both previous and current values.
I suggested (and use) to leave the actual “Delta” as is during further calculations, and in order to smooth the end result (the actual line indicator) to use a…[Read more]

The “Delta” of each individual currency-pair should be “net” (EURUSD[1]-EURUSD[2]), without any smoothing MA.
Smoothing should be done, if at all, only on the end result currency line indicator.
Market share (if used): should be on Volume factor and not on Price.
If we assume that the whole market is EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, USDJPY,…[Read more]

Have you looked at Steve Hopwood MPTM?

Those are basically TL’s on the DIFF & Gadi_OBV.
That’s the correct way to spot early breakouts – and not on price action.

The “killing Zone” explanation on Gadi_OBV indie is about finding a RANGE (Horizontal Lines) and not TL on Volume.
The above is usefull for breakouts and News trading, as well as finding “false” moves (stupid money price action…).

1. Hide stops from broker – SL is programmed into the EA or MM as program: if [condition] OrderClose(….);
2. On shorter TF’s SL should be at current or previous Lowest/Highest. Reason: the combined signal is strong, so price should move quickly in our direction. Otherwise it might be toolate entry or market changed rapidly. In either case we…[Read more]
