So what Standard deviation of 2 means is that 75% of the bars would be within the bands. If you pick standard deviation of 4 example, then about 94% of them should be within the bands. So whenever price crosses above or below the bands, then there is a rare event 

Something you could quickly do to reduce the memory usage is to limit the number of bars on your chart by going to Tools > Options > Charts. After you lower the Max bars in chart to something like 10000, restart MT4 and see if the memory usage is lower

The indicator or EA that creates the offline Renko doesn’t support the “Volume” datafeed. Most of them ignore this data…

That’s why I needed to create my own Renko offline EA…. This can be easily fixed by the creator of this EA, or provide source code for us to “fix”.

Small tip: If you count the Tick_Volume (number of ticks per bar)  for the TF you are on – you will find out that if your count for a certain bar is more than 130-150% the normal – this is an area of Supply/Demand even before that bar ends and surely before the next bar.

It’s easy to create such an indie, separate window or on-chart.
