Hello all,
I have a special request, i have a good friend, and i know him from a long time, he’s a good guy, he have 2 jobs to survive.
His daughter Myla(6 years old) has a Rhabdomyosarcoma tumour on her right eye muscle, which due to its location can’t be operated on, and conventional X ray radio therapy has more long term side effects than proton beam therapy. NHS England have accepted Myla’s case to be sent to america for this live saving treatment.
He already find the major part of the funds needed to do this trip. But he needs help to finish.
He have to go to America for Proton beam therapy as theres no centres in the UK. He will need to fund his own living costs which can be from 5000 $.
Because his daughter is the most precious thing in our lives, i have think about that possibility, that’s why i’m here and ask the help of this great community.
He is looking to start the proton beam therapy in early May. Then he will be in US for up to three months just for Myla’s treatment.
The money will be used for living costs while he is in America (5000 $). From what the hospital have told him, this is what the other families have needed while they have been out to America for the same treatment.
If for any reason the money is no longer required, then he will donate it to Candle Lighters charity in Yorkshire who support children with cancer.
As we are limited in time right now, he have an old skrill account, and i think it’s the best way.
