I will study how you use iCustom with Recurrence StatisticsFirst of all, I don’t believe that calling Recurrence Statistics (at least the versions I do know by now) will supply a signal that can directly be used for trading. Second, if you do so, please be aware that the versions up to V4.2 of Recurrence Statistics contain a serious bug. This has been fixed in V4.3. If you use it, please refer to this one or a later version. Probabilities for mid-bar transient zones have changed dramatically in V4.3. Regards, simplex
Hi Simplex,
recurrent statistics indicator was used only to find the exit point. it was not used for any entry.

Interesting detail! I was not aware of that fact, but my current evaluation points in a similar direction.

December 12, 2014 at 4:30 am #1176I don’t know if kprsa came to Penguins, but can anyone here take a look at recurrent statistics that i have modified and attached. It is a simple addition to track the number of bars back for each TZ, but it misses the last lower TZ. Attach it to a chart and you will see that the line I added shows the last top TZ but not the lower one. I am starting to think its an MT4 problem.
The idea is to print an alert or notify to mobile if 2 tops in a row or 2 TZ in line etc.. rare events.Attachments:

Looks like you started off with a kprsa version prior to 4.3. This contains bugs related to the mid-bar zones statistics. Fractal statistics are ok.
For kprsa debugged version please refer to

Ha,
You beat me! I’ve got nothing of that old stuff at home. Even my old FORTRAN cards did their last service as starters for a campfire many years ago … Was a nice fire, though, in the forest, with a friend or two and a good bottle of scotch …

December 22, 2014 at 10:39 pm #2181Anyone going to have a go at developing the ea?
What's it all about? It's all about money.
December 4, 2015 at 8:46 pm #9877I think, if some one could add into this EA Smart Recovery Zone Strategy or DIAD trade management approach, it could have some nice further potential!
