I Joined FF in December last year but have lurked there for a long time, I got banned a few days ago I am not sure why but I think I upset someone, anyway previous to that I noticed how certain people were banned like Kiads, and could not understand why, so I knew something underhand was going on, also I blocked all forex factory adverts, that maybe a reason too, they figure that they are not making any money so they ban us, not sure. Anyway, nice to meet you and I hope to have a better time here. p.s. this forum was hard to find.
Welcome here. At least here no gestapo towards ideas, and good heart sharing stuff. And no Gods wannabe that ban you if you critic (in a civil way of course) something/somebody. Really a (little for now) nice community, so far, IMHO

Haahaha… also the “scanner” in substitution of the big sponsor’s banner in the main page maybe a sign…. some sponsor broker pulled the plug? :) Alpari for sure..they gone bankrupt after SNB announcement

This is really a good place, but I have no much more time to learn. Plus, my English is not good~ must learn for everybody~
Been banned on every single high traffic forum where retail bucket shops pay the bills for years. But, they’ve never been able to stop me from coming back whenever I wanted.
Bucket Shops have been in my sights for years and I’ve probably been one of the most outspoken anti-bucket shop forum users on the planet. I’ve been a proponent of exposing their business models for what they are for eons. I’ve pushed for reforms, better regulations and increased authoritative monitoring of bucket shops for equally as long. But, the fact of the matter is that Retail Forex has little to no transparency and precious little to do with the real Interbank. When you trade in a retail account, you are doing so on a proprietary network of liquidity that may or may not have anything to do with the real world of Interbank. If you want to trade real Interbank then you need a Prime Broker who gives you genuine STP access with a reasonable commission that is clearly transparent and easily understood.
The truth is that Retail Bucket Shops are the “Whores” of most FX Trading Forums out there accepting paid sponsors as customers. That turns the forum into a kind of “agency” for the buckets, where they continue to “Pimp” out the owners of the forum for public exposure to potential newbie (new) accounts. That’s the way the game is played. Your job as a Trader is to get out of Retail Hell and there is only one way to accomplish that task – you have to trade your way out and you can go a very long way with a Prime Broker, without going full blown Institutional (which will require an attorney just to get the account set-up).
I’m not here to post consistently – I’ve got other things going on right now. I just wanted to say congratulations to another independent FX forum that cut the cord from the bucket shop futility and dared to start something new and different. All the best and keep thinking outside the box of convention in your trading ideas.

As i try to expand my knowledge of Forex and markets, i have found one trick that works for forex factory. If you want to read something worth reading on ff, just look for threads where the thread starters have had their membership revoked. Funny, but true. Many great people that shared their ideas have been banned for no apparent reason. Strange they didn’t delete the threads altogether… only so they can sell their crapware and sell smoke. Right now I am reading the similarity tread by eurusdd…great read.
I would like to thank all of you that were bullied by ff and banned, yet you continued to help other traders learn, share and develop ideas. A sincere Thank you.
