Most MT4 users and coders are aware of the fact that the deadline for a free upgrade to Win10 will be reached soon. Running my MT on Win 7 platforms until now, I cautiously upgraded 3 PCs during the last 3 weeks.
Everything related with MT4 is working absolutely smooth after the upgrade.
Upgraded platforms:
- Intel i5 laptop: Win 7 Home Premium (German)
- Intel Xeon workstation: Win 7 Professional (German)
- Intel Xeon workstation: Win 7 Professional (English)
Amongst all applications installed only the AntiVirus Kit needed an update, which was in all cases executed automatically.
My subjective perception is that all 3 systems are working a bit faster than before after the upgrade, and all of them appear to be absolutely stable.
I’ve read many warnings about upgrading your platforms with MT4 installations. For me, everything works fine!
Maybe other members are interested, too, in your MT4 related experience when upgrading or trying to upgrade.
