Hi All,

Some of our brothers here asking me,  could we just trading with MT4 Standard Indicators, and make consistent profit ?

So, in this thread we will discuss how to use only standard indicators (maybe in unusual way..lol)..

I will give you examples how to use them, and feel free to contribute here if you also have good idea on how to use your favorite standard indicators.

 

In this first example, I use Bollinger Bands both on main chart and in oscillator window and also  mirroring standard MACD, to create trend following set up that you can apply to any TF or price base charts like renko or constant range bar.

You can download rar file, consist of support custom indicators (most of you maybe already have them), and template just like this bellow example picture;

You can see at the example above, how to entry (and exit at opposite signals)..

Later I will explained ‘why’ we use this mirror MACD (Normal and Reverse)..

hai kiads,

i have a trouble in coding,please help me to overcome this i need to store the bollinger bands value at 0.0 standard time of broker.  the i have to use the value to compare at other times at particular day, i know that it will be done by file write and read. but i need more explanation,

please provide the way to achieve this and i will try to code it, because i know that you already have many projects in hand. if you tell me the way,i will create a header and call it from my code.

Hi Brother,  Sorry for late reply.

Still little bit don’t understand what you need, If I’m not wrong you want to get value from BB lines (3 values ?) at the open day according to broker server  and compare them  to what ? ( I assume to compare with exactly same BB itself..) Is that what You want ?

. we have to store the day open[00:00] value of the bb [three values] and compare them with he same bb[three values] at other times in that  particular day like [01:00],[01:15],[02:00],………[23:59] at the next day open new value will be stored……

in a day there is 1440 minutes we have to store the the values of bb[threevalues] of every minute in a day and compare them, in the next day the process start again….

You should right click the link and save as.  When downloaded then change the htm extension to mq4.

mine doesn’t have save as link but only save as target and when I do that and change html to mq4 nothing changes if you can help just attach it in rar format that I will be able to download

mine either, I have to download it to ios (apple) computer and then send it to windows ( all my desktops are win7). That has been only solution since I don’t want chrome…. I am going out but if no help I’ll send it to you tomorrow.

If you cannot change the file extension then you are probably not an administrator on windows 7.
