Hi All,  once again Thank You for all of your great support and nice comments.

I believe it’s useless to explain to people that dumb enough and can’t see the different between ‘scam attempt’ and ‘sincere explanation’. So, from my side the only way to move against that cruel accusation is to give the world proof that all of my stuff is not just BS but could work to help our trading journey.

Also an early warning (again and again), that if sometime in the future, if you get e-mail or PM or anything that acting like me or use another nicknames whatsoever that referencing to my personality, and asking for your help or offer you any ‘secret trading system/holy grail EA/Indicators.. bla..bla..bla”, and in conclusion asking for money from you with whatever reason, please.. IGNORE IT immediately, and post your finding here at our forum. That definitely not me.. ,  I really.. really don’t need your money at all.., if I need money from my public sharing activities then it will be more easier to ‘sell’ my Custom Indicators thru e-bay or MQL5 market or do social trading signal/copy trading, etc..  lol.

If you are real traders and have enough experiences, you will understand by looking to what I ‘share’ from the beginning until now that I can get enough profit consistently to support my lifestyle..lol.

Hi Brother,  Yes you doing right,  if your broker not provide ‘standard naming’ for instruments/pairs, then you should type your pair name exactly like what it look likes  at your symbols/tick charts window. (activate StrangeSymbols setting in your renko builder indicator setting).

Exactly. Going through your old FF threads in fast-forward gave me a great view of your character and integrity. As you said some time ago:

In early year of my journey in this financial world (stock market) back in the 90’s era, i met with some of ‘that kind’ guys that instead of ‘teaching’ mostly they just try to ‘cheating’ us.. lol this just same alphabets between ‘teaching’ and ‘cheating’ but really in opposite direction meaning.

So, my learning path is a real hard way, but that make me more eager to learning everything and won’t give up.

When i was kid, my Old Man say before he past away;

Hey, Kiads, or really anyone who has an answer here, I have a question if you have time:

Do you still use MT4 Ticker from fx1.net? It was included in the /Tools/ directory of the ARTS rar file I picked up last month, and when I tried to use it today for the first time, two things happened: It caused my MT4 to hang; and it told me to update from version 2 to version 3.4. When I updated to 3.4 (which requires signing up with a google account ), it… caused MT4 to hang even worse, I couldn’t kill the terminal even in Windows Task Manager, had to hard-reboot the system, and now every time I load up MT4 it immediately takes 2GB of memory and never actually starts. Crazy! I am going to reinstall MT4 soon, no big deal, but then I will be too afraid to try the MT4 Ticker again.

Is this just a weird error on my system, or do you have a different preferred way of testing on weekends these days?

Ooh, an update: MT4 Ticker seems to have a disagreement with the latest version of Renko Builder, at least on the specific build of MT4 that I tested with. I have both the latest version, MTH-b-700-Accel-Shift-Flip-Renko-Builder-Indi, provided in post 1 of this thread, and the older ! MTH MT4 B604 Accel Shift Renko Builder Indi v01 which was obtained from the old FF thread. I had the old indi set to create an offline chart at M11, and the new indi to create at M13. As you can see from the included screenshot, M13 blew up like Tetsuo’s arm in Akira.

After deleting the 2GB file, terminal loads correctly again.

I don’t know at this time whether it’s an issue in MT4 Ticker, the build of MT4 that I tested it with (which is an MBTrading demo, version 765), or the latest renko builder indi ― but anyone thinking of trying MT4 Ticker with b-700 of renko builder should be advised that this might happen.

Hi Brother,  why you need MT4 Ticker to create renko chart.  The latest version of Renko builder (in post 1) don’t need anything else to create renko chart on weekend. just load the indi to your base chart, change setting as you want, then  right click on your base chart and choose refresh. As long as you connected with your broker server, it will create offline renko chart.

MT4 Ticker send constant pseudo tick to your MT4 platform (in micro second), but for the newest MT4 build (765) and my latest renko chart builder (b700+) already has build in function for that. So, by using MT4 Ticker, we repeat/overlap that pseudo tick twice for each price change in infinity loop, and that will quickly create that huge file, exceed MT4 limitation of 2GB file size and crash your CPU.

Aha! That makes perfect sense.

Earlier today I was experimenting with Acceleration Modes, and then tried to change the % of brick shift on top of that, but saw no changes. I thought, Well, the market has just closed for the weekend… That must be what the MT4 Ticker is for! Aaaaand then this happened. Correlation ≠ Causation, as they say.

Now I understand, that BrickShift and Acceleration are distinct and cannot be used at the same time, so it is natural that I saw no change.

I did not know that it was possible to include such correct tick emulation into the indicator itself, along with everything else that can be done. ‘She’ is quite a work of art at this point.

BrickShift is ‘acceleration’ with constant ‘percentage size’ per user setting (standard Renko is 100% shift),  while ‘auto acceleration’ using parameters from oscillator data (MACD, Stoch, etc) will give ‘variable percentage shift to brick formation’ according to  ‘line angle’ and ‘relative position’  of choosing oscillator.

And, yes  correct tick emulation is still serious problem for MT4 environment, but new MQL language give us an option to use OnTimer function that could help us if using properly.

Exactly. I am still in the ‘playing with possibilities ‘ stage of learning what the indicator can do, and started wondering, “Will changing the % change the already-shifted data?” It’s just an unfortunate coincidence that instead of seeing a simple “No.” answer, I went on a crazy adventure and blew up my history file. ^_^

The main reason why I find oscillator-driven acceleration interesting is that it can, somewhat indirectly, give an idea of whether the volatility is high and maybe the spread has been dangerously large. When trading live, we can easily look at spread, but when looking back over the past, spread information is gone; when trading with traditional candle charts, long bars clearly show volatility after news events etc, but it’s not completely clear with renko. And yet I notice that when you use renko you usually prefer 12.5 shift, with no further acceleration. Do you have any advice for dealing with that lack of spread and volatility information?

With plain renko bars, RenkoAM can be used for this purpose (example screenshot included; you’ve probably even seen it before), but that indicator becomes a fish out of water as soon as the bars are shifted, flipped, etc.

Hi Brother,   your example image is EURUSD M1 candlestick chart as your base chart with my renko chart builder indicator loaded but where is your M11 (default) offline renko chart image ?

do you already try to look at your open offline window (MT 4 Menu / File / Open Offline ) then search and click EURUSD M11 to open your offline renko chart ?

and if you already did that, then what happen ? what ‘she’ look like ? could you post the image..

or.. btw do you really follow and understand how to create your offline chart ?

Edit :  Ah.. I know it,   please forgive me that I don’t carefully look at your image.  Actually you open M1 EURUSD offline chart (that is actually copy of your candlestick M1 EURUSD online chart).

please do this step.

1. Open standard M1 EURUSD Chart.

2. load my renko builder indicator to this standard M1 EURUSD Chart. for this first time, just use the default setting.

3. make sure your standard M1 EURUSD Chart has history for at least 28800 candles/bars.

4. because this is week end, after you load my renko builder indicator,  right click on your standard M1 EURUSD Chart and select Refresh.

5. Next go to Menu File / Open Offline, and search for EURUSD M11 and click it to open your M11 EURUSD Renko chart.

6. By Default Your M11 EURUSD offline Renko Chart should be in 8 Pip brick size with shifting 12.5%  (1 pip step/geometrical renko), and there will be some parallel brick as ‘result’ from active 1 minute timely brick. (if your turn off this option the parallel bricks will gone), and your offline renko chart will look like zig-zag with 45 / 315 degree angles.

I was you big fan since your tread in FF .  Thank’s for your sharing SSA Cycdiv indicator  its very useful. I want to ask you a question maybe you can help . After updating MT4 last December my platform ( Build 765 ) always freeze and running slow after put SSA Cycdiv indicator ( it’s running well on last platform ). I has been reinstall it several times  but nothing change. Maybe you can help  please advice.

Since there no problem at all in my side use this indicator in several charts simultaneously, and also several MT4 latest build (765) instances running on my old computer..lol.

Maybe you can provide a brief description of your hardware (CPU, RAM, …) ? Might help to isolate the issue.

Already tried your suggestion , re install MT4 latest build version 765 and only add CycDiv Indicator plus SSAlib library file. Here is the result from journal :

Hi Brother, try not use SSA CycDiv with renko first,  delete your renko chart and also your renko builder indicator from M1.  then use standard plain candlestick chart and upload SSA CycDiv Indicator only, and please inform me what happen..

Honestly I don’t know whats wrong with your MT4 environment since I already test the latest SSA CycDiv with MT4 build 765 from several brokers and there’s no problem at all.

If you don’t mind, would you please check your new downloaded MT4 build 765 from your broker without any indicators loaded. also turn off any program that might be run in background (excluding your anti virus of course).  then right click your bottom screen and run Window Task Manager, and check at the Processes Tab, look at Terminal.exe (MT4 terminal), then write down how many memory that used by ‘her’.

Next, load your SSA CycDiv to only 1 plain standard candlestick chart, then check again in your Window Task Manager Processes Tab,  is there any significant change in memory used by Terminal.exe ?

btw, if you don’t mind please inform your broker website link,  I will try to download MT4 from your broker and try look the problem.

And please forgive me to make you trouble with my Indicator,  hopefully we can solve the problem together..

I already checked the task manager  when it’s occurred during  the first time.

Here ‘s the result after re install the platform it again .

• After re install teminal.exe memory 48,990 K
• after put SSACycDiv Indicator terminal.exe memory increase to 62,724 K

This result value near the same when I checked it for the fist time last December . Here’s the link to broker website

Hi Brother,

When looking at the change of memory from your MT4 before and after loading SSA CycDiv there should be memory leak,  since there is a huge different in memory spike.

I already download Agea MT4 platform and loading SSA CycDiv indicator to EU chart and there no problem at all, the change in memory is from 49,500 k to 50,900 k  and that mean normal.

There’s maybe some internal memory conflict in your windows environment that somehow when SSA-Lib.dll call Window function create memory leak.

There’s no freezing or slowdown in my AGEA Demo MT4 here, while I running 5 MT4 and 2 MT5  and 1 Jforex from different brokerages simultaneously in my computer.
