Several of our friends from FF, try to register here but didn’t get verifying e-mail to activated their registration..
and ask me to inform you about that..
do you have any advice for them ?

Hmm… yes, I noticed that it’s only the Outlook.com and Live.com users not getting my emails. I manually activated these users. I will investigate to see why this is happening? For now, if any user that wants to register can register with an email account other than one with Outlook.com or Live.com and you should get the activation email. If not, I will activate your account whenever I get the chance to check while I find a solution to this email issue.

Just to make sure, I did mean that there’s a typo in the sender address “noreply@enguintraders.com”. Maybe this is the reason for emails failing the validity check of some providers.

There was a bug in the BuddyPress plugin that I was using. The way it was stripping the URL. Let’s see, I think I may have fixed it.

Yup, the address is fixed now. Still I think the Outlook and Live.com email issue might be different. Could be host related. I will figure it out. Taking a bit of time

Thanks for the help in solving the email problems for us. I am the scissors Kiads mentioned about, guess much easier to remember as nickname. So glad I am still part of the gurus group and hope juniors like us can learn much from you all.

Hey saver0, I checked my spam folder but there are no emails. Also my email address in my profile is correct.
In the first 2 days after my registration I’ve received an email everytime when there was a new reply to a forum topic, but since yesterday I didn’t receive an email at all.

Ok, thats a good hint. After further investigating I think I found the problem
I had the site be on a new IP address yesterday after the Outlook and Live.com email problem and forgot to have them create reverse DNS entries for the IP. I had them set it up. In a few hours the email problem should be received and everyone should start getting the notifications again

Possible typo – while registering you can select your development/trading level as “experianced” not “experienced”.

Sometimes when I click on the pic attachment, I can’t close the window. There’s no X for me to click or back. The pic attachment occupy the screen but unable to close t to resume my browsing activities, I can only go back the page, note: I’m using internet explorer didn’t test with chrome though. pls help, thx.

It is not a bug, LearnAlways. You should see X when you move your mouse toward left bottom corner of the picture.
