I would like the EA filter to work a bit different or have this option.

Longs above / shorts below

Ex. 50 ema  price closed above only tale breakouts long and vice versa for shorts.

Rather than or as addition to using it as a momentum filter as it seems currently.

That will eat you alive.

You could always only trade the first breakout set and if that fails, wait for the next CZ. Always take breaks in the direction of sentiment.

Or set you box size and TP at the same value. So Range 30 and TP 30 no buffer or filters.

Remember you are speculating on the reward.  The only thing you can control almost surely is your risk.

With that in mind you have some options.

Run rossbot in the MT4 strategy tester. Input your setting and watch the test visually to gain understanding.

If you have a smiley face in the upper right corner the rossbot is on/ Just give it time to find a zone within your perimeters.

Use rossbot alone! The indicator is just for exploring settings and getting a visual understanding of the consolidation zones.

Rossbot does not start drawing zones until one develops.
