After data filtering & channel decision we need to attend to the VOLATILITY phenomena in different TF’s.
Typical Volatility behaviour

drloyd,
The “Close” of a bar is an artificial stop-watch or snap-shot of the current timeframe.
Sometimes it doesn’t correlate with the market “sentiment” and direction at that time.
Think “out-of-the-Box”, find the market sentiment for that bar and where it “diagree” with the direction and CLOSE price.

Yes, the signal is at current bar close.

gg53 replied to the topic Price on CLOSE ?! Really?!?! in the forum Development 11 years, 4 months ago
It’s simple, really…
Compare current bar CLOSE price to other representations of “current price”.
You’ll find signals that the “CLOSE” is actually not representing current market sentiment.
In most cases “CLOSE” price will correct itself, move to the “right” direction and hit the already known “correct” price on his way.

The signals are immediatly after bar CLOSE.
There are more samples in this chart, just didn’t want to clutter it, just to show the pricipal.
It works on ALL timeframes.

We all automatically consider that price is on the CLOSE of the bar.
That the way we “learned” and that’s the way most indicator calculate their input/output.
Is that really the right way of looking at price/chart?
What if there is another way?
A way, that if done correctly, and compared to the CLOSE price – will tell you almost exactly w…[Read more]

Sure, but from higher TF to lower TF.. and not in reverse because we don’t know if TZ from lower TF will become the lowest or highest top/bottom TZ for the rest higher TF..
But, if ‘she’ show up on higher TF then definitely it will also show up in lower TF.

Best Regards

My Brother,
BrickShift is ‘acceleration’ with constant ‘percentage size’ per user setting (standard Renko is 100% shift), while ‘auto acceleration’ using parameters from oscillator data (MACD, Stoch, etc) will give ‘variable percentage shift to brick formation’ according to ‘line angle’ and ‘relative position’ of choosing os…[Read more]

Hi Brother, why you need MT4 Ticker to create renko chart. The latest version of Renko builder (in post 1) don’t need anything else to create renko chart on weekend. just load the indi to your base chart, change setting as you want, then right click on your base chart and choose refresh. As long as you connected with your broker server, it wi…[Read more]
