Dagmar
Hi Dagmar
I can’t replicate this problem in backtests. Make sure you have the latest version from the first post. Which broker did you use? Can you attach the set file?
February 19, 2015 at 11:59 pm #4913Hi,
My trades are closing with [Exit: Trailing stop].
Does anyone know how to disable the Trailing Stop feature? (on EA)
Settings used;
QTP; 140
SL overide; 140
Breakeven Trigger; 0.0
LockProfit; 0.0
Many thanks.
February 20, 2015 at 1:22 am #4918You can download an updated Rossbot version from the first post, it should correct this problem.
March 2, 2015 at 6:58 am #5244The updated version corrected it. Thank you. ***
Regarding Martingale; The current Martingale feature increases lot size for trades after losses in the current cz box.
Is it possible to add the option to continue the martingale on consecutive boxes? (with a setting of maximum number of martingale increases).
Example;
[Max Trade Set Reversals]; = 0
[Lot Multiplier] = 3
# of martingales = 2.
Breakout of first box is one unit loss. Breakout of second box is 3 units loss. Breakout of third box is 9 units loss. [Then reset] Breakout of fourth box is one unit loss].
Many thanks.
March 2, 2015 at 8:58 am #5250I have updated the first post with a new version. CZResetMartingale option resets the martingale sequence when a new CZ is formed, MaxMartingaleSequence option defines the maximum number of consecutive martingaled trades.

April 10, 2015 at 12:29 pm #6207There’s an infinite combination of input settings. I’m trying, with some, I’m reaching positive results… It’s promising. At least it shows you what Martingale is and how it works. I guess this is the point underlined many times by GG53: “using increasing lot size once you’re in the money” and vice-verse.
We’re learning, growing and progressing. Day by day we become more experienced. Hope to reach a level of the “masters”…
PS: A good winning combo of inputs could be very useful. If I can find a good combo, which works in all timeframes and pairs, I’ll share it here.
Best regards…

You must be logged in to view attached files.April 28, 2015 at 2:11 am #6422So basically the master candle define the box once it shown to envelop the next minimum 4 candles and you extend the high and low of that candle to the right then trade the same as you would with CZs…
???April 28, 2015 at 2:43 am #6423Check the SSBO on FF I can’t seem to get anything uploaded here. Very frustrating…
Cannot see my typing and keep having to login over again.
April 28, 2015 at 10:48 am #6427Hi Billyon,

May 7, 2015 at 8:07 pm #6556Hello XUX99,
Is there any way you can code the rossbot’s quick take profit to match the box rage dynamically? Say I have auto reduce set and a CZ box forms around 10 pips. Can we have the take profit match that 10 pips and if next is 17 pips the bot will set quick take profit to 17 pips and so on…
Thanks for you time.
Bill
May 7, 2015 at 8:13 pm #6557By the way, the master candle works great with the ssbo trading style. eurusd on 1hr rarely sees a step 3 if target matches range of the master candle. Just throw in MM and make a few duckets
!!!

I would like to test the same on SSBO EA if the first trade’s TP could match the range of the CZ that would be great!!
