Hi xux,

i downloaded  rossbot again to get the new feature with the CZ Multiplier Option, but there is no change , seems to be the old version?!   ” Quick Take Profit Type”   is missing.

When i drag the ea onto the chart it doesn`t show the CZ  and the ea comments are NOT displayed anymore at the upper left side of the chart. Have a look at the added pics.

probably too much I’m asking for, but is it possible (with reasonable efforts) to implement the master candle idea Billyon posted before into the Rossbot EA, meaning to trade the master candle  instead of CZ in a “set reversal way” with TP = size of the master candle?

That would be worth investigating… I argue that Master Candle and Killing Zone concepts are interrelated.

There is no EA that was posted or endorsed by the FF thread writer in that discussion.

An IDEA. FHX please chime in if I’m mucking up your system. I have found some success by using this logic

How about you share your setting and why they are as such? You understand that this is an exploitation of the days major move right. So think of the hours where the market has the least movement on your particular pairs and focus on planning your CZ size and length around those quiet hours. So if you have a pair that get lets say 8 hours of action on average, you look for tight CZs that may be up to 16 hours long. So for 15 min you may be looking for 60+ length CZs. Look at ATR for those lengths and times and plan your CZ height accordingly

Then run the EA test again

25 profit target

Even better result cooking up now based on a 10 hour long CZ minimum with a 35 pip trailing stop and 21 pip TP or 1 CZ muti TP

hi xux99,

thank you very much for coding rossbot – I love it :)

however, for some reason I don’t seem to be able to backtest anymore. I’ve changed the autogmtoffset to false, but that didn’t work.

the journal gives me no error messages and rossi works brilliantly on my demo and live accounts. can the latest rossbit still be backtested?

I can backtest it with no problems. Make sure you have complete M1 historical data.
