Finding Peak & Trough by Volume: In this case we are in a general Down-Trend, so we need to find Peaks to enter SHORT. The Volume_Oscillator, with a few enhancements, does a pretty good job. Minimal to zero LAG, Minimal to zero false signals. Bars are colored by the swing rule found in the “True Bars/Candles and Market Sentiment” thread. So for down-trend SHORT entry we are looking at the Green bars area. G.

Did you made a correlation of the VZO indicator and the market ? what are the results ?
Do you trust the TrailingWithPartialClose.mq4 ? is it efficient ?

Always confirm and validate your strategy and Volume related indicator behaviour & parameters with assets that have REAL volume data, Such as Futures, Indices, commodities (such as DAX, S&P, Oil, etc.).

cool ea , when testing it on lowest spread its give high profit almost 1300% within 3 month
i found great settings for this ea
but the problem is
why on backtest it working and placing orders
and when put it on real account or demo account its not placing orders and sometimes placing but few orders not as backtest
is there any problem with ea ?

I think I can speak for all contributing coders saying that we would need considerably more detail about your test conditions and results to help us finish our project. Thank you for trying! We’re certainly open for any contribution. Please provide details!
And personally I would not recommend to put this EA on a life account by now. This is work in progress!

but the problem is its working only in backtest
dont know whats wrong with it when put it on real account or demo account
its open few positions
and on 1 h tf rare open positions
if can fix this problem and make it work as backtest it will be amazing

This project isn’t working yet, and have missing parts in it’s logic. I think you need to read carefully from start to understand the concept, not just 1/3 of it….
Same goes to mohammed witwit “testing” and remarks.

I have the feeling that the Penguin EA went to sleep…
ClearMethod Function is done (Although refinments with ADX can be added) – (the “Price-Action” logic part)
VZO Function is done – (the “Volume” logic part)
Currency-Strength Function is still missing… (the “Market Sentiment” logic part).

I have the feeling that the Penguin EA went to sleep…
For the open CS part, my CIX is still on the table. Currently I’m working to encapsulate its core algorithm into one single function to be used in EAs and in the indicator respectively. Yet a bad cold and fever are still stopping me out, so my work slowed down for the moment …
I’m open for any suggestion to enhance CIX or to replace CIX by a different CS indicator. At the moment, there seems to be no alternative around.
I’d be really happy if more coders contributed to this specific part of the EA logic.
