There was a good one on the EU this morn at London open, it is also good for spotting false breakouts on price.
I see that you use the 30 min chart on oil, it can be “spikey” and run fast on short time frames, certainly gold can be “spikey” on shorter time frames.
Thanks for posting the screen shots G – really helpful

I posted DAX & Oil in order to show the power of Volume and “Naked Trading” (trading without price chart), as well as market setiment and the effect of “Elephants” moves.
Trading those – you don’t have to consider Currency-Strength to choose the right pair to trade, and focus just on Volume movements, its direction changes and breakouts.

October 14, 2015 at 6:22 pm #8415Good video as usual. I fail at getting out sometimes when I should.
October 14, 2015 at 8:00 pm #8417Finding the entries is pretty much straightforward now – and I dont mean that I am some sort of guru !! – but yes you are quite right JH finding the exit is difficult, using the entry method and reversing it can be too late for an exit somtimes (depending on how long it runs for), placing stops at logical places can be straightforward too. Another way to find the exit is with a trailing stop.
Just to add, for an exit we can drop down a time frame and use our indicators in reverse – if you see what I mean.
Thanks for your screen shot by the way

Exit is also done by what you have on your screen right now, no need to reduce TF’s – and certainly don’t use price lagging CCI.
BTW – the CCI exit in your video happend one bar later (100 cross down).
I can show you again via Skype.

October 15, 2015 at 5:46 pm #8439On trade EXIT and true COMPOUNDING:
1. DON’T use TP. the market is deaf and doesn’t listen to your hopes and prayers…
2. Start trading with small lot, and continously use fixed lot sizes.
3. Entries are according to CS, Tick-Volume & Volume.
4. Enter as close as possible to the Tick-Volume phase change (going from negative to positive).
5. As long as Tick-Volume is POSITIVE (above “0”) you stay in a LONG trade. Never mind the pullbacks, they are OPPORTUNITIES. The opposite is true for SHORT trades.
6. Initial SL is set at the CLOSE of previous swing – as indicated by a previous area of RED bars.
7. At each end of RED bars, with the first BLUE bar, you move your SL to tne next CLOSE of that area – AND enter another LONG trade with same initial Lot size.
8. … Repeat until stopped…
This is TRUE Compounding. Making the max out of a trend.
Here are 8 trades, vertical lines denote each entry, horizontal lines denote SL.
This one is more than 180 pips – but the revenue/profit is much, much higher. And can still continue…
BTW: there is an addition to this method, which makes it even more powerfull, more profitable, and still safe. But that’s more advanced and for another time.

@gg53 Thank you for your explanation, I understand your entries very clearly. However I still dont get your exits from the above explanation. Could you expand on what signal you use to get out please?
I gather you are saying there is only one final exit (after the 8 entries).
PS I like you comment about the market being ‘deaf’

What's it all about? It's all about money.

“Exit” is actually when your SL is hit.
Moving SL is set at the previous swing lowest bar Close, which is clearly marked by the RED histogram bars (in the case that you are going LONG, as in this example).
In this method you continously move your SL, while entring the new trade. Using this method your previous trades are always in protected and in profit.
The moving SL point are marked by horizontal Red lines, and keep moving up from one swing point to the other.
The screenshot I showed all of them, but in actual trading you only have one SL, set at the latest swing bottom.
