Adapted fractal indicator based on bar close values.
The arrows are a little small. I put them 1 pip above or below the bars in the chart.
Just give it a try.
This indi does not show only the “good” fractals of GG’s last chart.
But maybe it gives us a better idea in what direction we have to search/look.
So some research has to be done.

Fractal Arrow Prediction 11 years, 7 months agoYea, this is very interesting. So it seems we should take into consideration the fractals formed on the close of each bar rather than the high/low of traditional fractals.
Is that what you use in your algorithm GG?

First immage is an abstract picture of a river flow – white lines are the river banks, green is the center current.

in your definition of UP and DOWN fractal you explicite mention the 5 bar fractals only. In the fractal indi and also in Bill Williams video also 6-9 bar fractals are used. Does this mean we have to use for this only the 5 bar fractal definitionBR

Yes, this one is about 20 years old – but listen to every word he says. His description of the market as a leaving, natural thing is priceless.
The money and price will go where there is less resistance. Like a river/water flow.
