Hi Everybody,
I am actually a lurker in FF. I just join FF as member after chancing upon TZ concepts, been trying hard to figure it out with no success as of yet. Was shocked when I found a lot of members are suddenly gone. So I chanced upon this website. Thanks for setting up this forum and thanks to all the brilliant minds who was talking abt TZ but actually I didn’t really get it as it seems to be too complicated until after I saw M.A.M trader during his own thread that TZ is just “n” bar fractal, I tried to verify what he said, and it does seem to hold some truth. Pls bear in mind that I am not acquainted to M.A.M trader in any way but found his posts with wisdom if u really read carefully and not judging first. Pls note I am not flattering him also since I dun know him and he also dun know me. Pls allow me to post this pic and discuss abt TZ. Just my 2 cents. cheers.
Attached pic is USDJPY H1 with TZ H=30 and MTF Fractal of D1 and H4. Notice D1 & H4 fractal agrees with TZ, h=30. Pls forgive my editing skill as Its my first time posting with pic and edit with paint.

does it really matter how you call it? If you can work out a way to use a concept for your profitable trading..?
Before the transient/recurrent theory , i´ve never saw fractals in combination with the statistical way , if prices will be recurrent within a given time period…
So i don´t think that naming things another way brings any benefit. But maybe someone can turn on a bulb in my mind, if the observation that a h-ptz is a n-fractal can help in any way to learn about it…

True, renaming PTZ to n-fractal doesn’t help in anyway, its just a name and u can call it what u want. But I was just wondering it should have the same characteristic of a fractal and how should I use it to my advantage but as we all know 1) fractal repaints or update when a new high or new low is make. 2) Fractals are generally used in identifying whether or not a price reversal has occurred. Frankly speaking I still haven’t figure it out yet. So I’ll be happy to learn from anyone who can enlighten me. If anyone was confused then I apologies, just that MAM post trigger some thoughts in me that’s all. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

By the way, Nanningbob has come up with something that he calls the Holy Grail Indicator over at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3964 . It works great along with some of MTH’s work on the same chart. MTH’s indicators give excellent short term signals and Bob’s does longer term.

FF just upgraded my status to “revoked”. I posted a chart showing examples of dissimilarity and divergence. Perhaps they did not like that or perhaps they did not like my comment about admin and senior trolls murdering the similarity thread…
Drloyd, maybe they figure 12000+ traders lost to Steve Hopwood is enough. And if that indicator works like you say they will lose a lot more if they let you keep mentioning it.

Yeah, right Saver0. I had some “nice” discussions practically with all the naysayers in that infamous thread. That Daimari is just a poor child that probably don’t trade at all right now neither in demo and has already been scammed probably many times cause his inexperience…so that’s why he is so harsh,i believe. Another big one there, is an ex trader (his admission) that evidently now not having better to do, enjoy his free time building conspiracy theories…just for giving you a panorama of what people we are talking about…
On one thing the Daimari dude is right…the story is not over, be sure about that. Not only our followers will see how irresponsible and unfair FF was with their acting, but ALL the trading community..and no, we won’t play the role of martyrs, but we are living another role: good people UNFAIRLY treated and banned (some even accused to be crooks, dormient shillies for crooks etc, etc…)
Shame on them!Guys, today I did some investigations on ForexFactory after gg got back to me with some interesting things. What I found is that ForexFactory moves a lot of threads to the Recycle bin towards the end of the year near Christmas time. Pretty much threads where people made consistent profits. It’s really strange to see. I saw no talks about the thread starter being a scammer, just all of a sudden the thread ending up in Recycling bin and then eventually the thread starter’s account being terminated (just like the way it happened to us). So there really is a conspiracy that’s going on in the Forex world it seems and honestly, it’s something that I wouldn’t even want to touch or get into.
Also ForexPeaceArmy is no solution. It seems to be run by a bunch of crooks as well. Maybe even owned/controlled by the same people at the end.
Anyways, my time spent made me understand something about ForexFactory that I will share with you. Do you know where the real hidden gems are? You will find it in the Recycle bin!

None of their threads are really ever deleted so we can find it all through google. They keep them there because thats search engine traffic for them. So we have to use google to find these gems.

This was from 2011 and the thread was deleted for no reason at all! So every year, they seems to do some “cleanup” of profitable systems. Systems where the thread owner said everything and where things were crystal clear. So this is a lead for anyone that wants to resurrect old systems from the deleted threads at ForexFactor. How about those extracted threads? Extracted threads by threadstarter??? e.g. ForexHard for CZ (consolidation zones), CrucialPoint? His thread was moved to the recycled bin too suddenly. Extracted Threads also full of gems? Pls advise. Thx.
