Congratulations Saver0.
I wish you health, happiness and prosperity.

I have been busy with work and some other stuff so I haven’t spent much time trading or being on the forums.

November 10, 2015 at 10:42 am in reply to: MTH – Star Skull and Smiley Indicator (lite version) #8943You can just compare the broker time and GMT if you have Kiads market info indicator.(pic) Alternatively, right click on your mt4 market watch section, and check time option. Then compare that time to current London time. Exness is a good GMT 0 broker. You can open a demo, then use that for your analysis and charting, use your own account for trading.
Word of caution about Exness however – they offer high leverage accounts, but they reduce them significantly on friday to protect themselves from gap ups/downs. So if you have high leverage, be sure to take note, because when they switch your account from 500:1 example to 100:1 on friday, it might lead to a margin call, depending on your balances.

I would love to see a few more examples and how you integrate 3 TFs into the analysis, making so many high probability trades possible in one day.P.S. To all Penguins, using a broker with GMT 0 is a very important thing in your technical analysis. When Kiads told me about this, at first i was a little hesitant. But once you load the exactly the same chart setup on GMT0 and your own broker, compare the two, you will see that it is very different, so you are trading out of sync – big disadvantage.

Hey Kiads,
Thank you for this wonderful tool Brother. It is good to see you back on the forum. I wish you good health. I would wish you green pips, but looks like you have that covered lol.Best, Edington
Gentlemen,
I am not looking to get into a big discussion, but I would like to add my “2 cents” and share my view as well. Some of you might not agree with my views and that is OK.
The current situation has created a fertile field for all sorts of right wing movements across Europe. Establishing counter movements is not the answer. If this continues, it will drive a dividing wedge between EU member states and the people, until the EU tears itself apart. Fear is a very powerful weapon. The simplest solution is to take away the fertile field – solve the situation. Without it, these movements will have no context nor appeal. However, i fear EU politicians are very slow to react.
Europe needs a well articulated policy for immigration/asylum for all member states that is respected and enforced. If you can not reach consensus, have a union wide referendum. I think most Europeans choose humanity, but we have to define what it is in this situation. I don’t think many agree with the concentration camp remarks or other right wing slogans. I do not. If people are running away from war, let them stay and provide for them until the war ends. That in my view is the humane thing to do. But there is another problem, many of these people are not refugees, but also “economic migrants” who are running from poverty. In terms of immigration, I am pro immigration, but it has to be based on the economic need of the country with a certain criteria. If you need plumbers/electricians/programmers, then allow for these professions to come over. A permanent asylum and open door policy is not a good idea as a country loses its ability to control its immigration process. If this policy is enforced, the EU will have to permanently accept people from every poverty stricken country in Asia and Africa. This is clearly not economically feasible nor sound for many reasons in my honest opinion.

Happy Birthday Penguins. Salut to Saver0! Lets party

Great job Pipatronic.

Thanks gg53. I will take a look. There is always more out there to learn.

Agreed. The spread can be deterred by an ECN broker, but there is still slippage. It would take real courage to trade this event in a real account, but as long as you figure out where its pushed and why, one could make some nice pips. I am not trying to encourage anyone to do this, but it is important to note the actions of the MMs. One of the basic premises of the PVSRA trading “system” is that the prices are not determined by the buyers or sellers, but by the MMs. Their job is to create liqudity by filling orders, and they determine the sequence of price movements to fill those orders in a way that best suits them…while trying to trick everyone else. Anyone here ever played GO? Considering they know the sequence, they take additional positions themselves for extra profits. The idea here is to take a look at the tricks they play…
But, i will say this, as you know 95% of all traders ultimately lose money in Forex. The reason is, that the market is run by the banks and it was designed for them to make the $ and not the trader. However, learning the tricks they play on you might give you an edge over them. Fool me once – shame on you, Fool me twice………

GG53 has shared a lot of his work/ideas/thoughts and code with the rest of the community here and on FF. He is one of the great minds here. It is his right to share or not to share his code. End of story. I think sir, you are out of line.
That being said, gentlemen, lets not make this site alike FF, filled with squabbles, insults, personal attacks etc. I think the idea of Penguin was to move away from the drama and bs.
” The site aims to create an environment that welcomes you to collaborate and to work with others in order to build profitable trading systems and indicators. Over the years that I have been developing for Forex, I came to realize how difficult it is to build things on my own. I wished that there were like-minded people and friends that I could work together to come up with ideas and to build complex systems”
So, I hope now we can all get back to this while treating each other in a respectful manner.

Hello all,
Despite having some issues with relations between lines, this indicator has become the most important tool in my arsenal. Its just a question of understanding what “she” is saying.
Thank you again Saver0. I have combined it with PVSRA and I am having a blast…on my demo at least. This is one week result. While I trade bigger TFs (15-1h), I also scalp a few 1 pip trades to pass the time. I use no stop loss, if i get in a trade that does not work out, i will hedge a good % of my total positions when DD starts to pass my comfort zone, the re-evaluate the situation. I also keep an eye out for news events. The idea was to hit 1k profit per day and then go do something else. I achieved my goals within 2-3 hours of trading, except Friday.(took me 6 as i got stuck in a trade). I want to see if I can do it consistently for a month. The hardest thing for me is to learn when to sit on my hands and not take the trade.

Edit-the report includes my trading session from last Friday as well, so 6 sessions total.

Nice.August 7, 2015 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Nature of Markets – Power of Probability, Compounding & 1pip #7605Hello All. I have been experimenting today with this idea. Thanks again Saver0 for sharing. I over-traded for 4% account gain, but i do think it is possible to maintain a high success ratio. With most “systems” or extra tools you use, even a “bad” signal will give you that 1 pip…statistically

Dear Saver0,
Thank you for a very good explanation of the zones. The way to trade them was what was troubling me the most. I will try implementing these trade ideas in the weeks to come.

Hey Smallcat,
Higher TFs dont help that much IMO,try using a mt4 replay, and load the indicator on various timeframes…you can see potential zones develop, disappear on all tfs. I guess you could develop something if you used martingale with it,…otherwise you would be stuck in trades for a looooong time, or stopped out. The zone idea is interesting in ranging periods only.
This is in the event we try using them alone…however, combining it with, perhaps with Saver0’s basket indi may give you a rather interesting system? Use the indi to tell you when a pair is “out of sync”, and use the developed recurrent zones as targets in the expected direction.
What I am saying, is that I don’t see, at this point, a way to successfully trade from the zones as it was suggested…i see them as potential targets, to be used with other tools in the arsenal. Anyway, these are my noobie experiences and thoughts about it so far. Time to put on my thinking cap….

Dear Fellow Traders,
I have a few question that I would like to ask. I am new to the concept discussed, but it is one i am having trouble with. Now, after reading the Similarity thread and looking superficially into Eurusdd’s presentation on TZs, I am bothered by this… and please, for those who have grasped this, i apologize for noob questions… The reason I ask it here is because, I see many of you in this thread were also active in the original thread. I have finished reading the other day and its a lot to digest.
In one of the examples of RZs and TZs, there is an idea that if the price penetrates the Potential Zone, we can assume that it is Transient and that the area above it is Recurrent. (Please see image attached). The real problem i have with any application of this concept is that…when a potential zone appears, many times before it is declared either, it disappears and is recreated at another position, particularly on the lower tfs. Now, this makes it difficult to apply while zones are being created, however if you get the right H, most recurrent zones will be revisited…but hard to say when.
BTW, I was reading Kiads take on the zones and he posted an image of Arnold Schwarzenegger saying I’ll be back…just dont know when…LOLed and spilled coffee all over…. great humor.
Thank you in advance for a bit of clarity on this.
Best,
Michael E

Dear Brothers,
As i try to expand my knowledge of Forex and markets, i have found one trick that works for forex factory. If you want to read something worth reading on ff, just look for threads where the thread starters have had their membership revoked. Funny, but true. Many great people that shared their ideas have been banned for no apparent reason. Strange they didn’t delete the threads altogether… only so they can sell their crapware and sell smoke. Right now I am reading the similarity tread by eurusdd…great read.
I would like to thank all of you that were bullied by ff and banned, yet you continued to help other traders learn, share and develop ideas. A sincere Thank you.
Best,
Michael E
Indeed. That was my default template i just used for comparison.
