      HI xux99,

The EA is working properly on standard time frames, but is it possible to make the EA work on Renko chart ?

I use EA  renkolivecharts_pimped_v4_13 to generate it. If I may assume since it is needed to open a offline chart the Rossbot gets confused ?

      Pleeeease !!!!

attaching the renko EA and screenshot

        I have the data,

results from the EA straight no MM with 0.1 lot which comes as $1 per pip.

        1. testing MM  with 20% of equity Result= 22,000

        2. testing the above mentioned way Result = 183,000

The “X” number is optimized at the end but it is still good for the whole period. Test it by your self, because these are the results I see. In theory you are right, except when the TP is less then the SL. (In my case the TP is 3 times less than the SL). Also what you will notice is that the “X” is 2 times smaller than the MAX DD possible.

          Hi xux99,

Again thanks for the brilliant work. I have manged to set some good strategies but and tested a MM in excel to optimize results.

Is it possible to add a MM option in the EA, as follows:

          Example:

          1. Starting Balance or Available equity = 1000

          2. Divide the *Balance/“X” (certain number lets say 150) and rounded up to *Zero= 7

          3. That would mean the profit/loss for 1 pip on the next trade should be $7. That would suggest next trade on EURUSD should be with volume of 0.7 lots.

          4. The “X” must be a constant,  what I mean is  Balance always divided by it (like excel lock cell with the $) and to be editable.

          5. Then repeat for the next trade

IF that could be done, would be a great advantage to be tested in this way as a can see a big positive difference in this MM on solely using percentage of equity. Yes, I have tried to simulated it but the results did not match.

Will be waiting for an answer, thanks in advance for it.

          P.S.

If further information for clarifying it is needed, just let me know.

                Hi xux99,

Is it possible add the  AutoOptimize feature from the indicator  in to the EA ?

                  Hi xux99,

That explains a lot, it is a great inside as have not doubted the code but was difficult to find the reason for the case.

As if not asking too much, is it possible to add a future in the indicator like the EA. TO have the option to choose the trading session.

                    Hi xux99,

I understand that the indicator calculation is based solely on the Bid and takes the MA close (last value).

But still please see screenshot, the price is way far above the Box and spread is insignificant case in this example, also the MA is set to Close; Value 1; which supposedly should not make much of a difference.

                      Hello xux99,

I have been playing with the indi, some very good results are coming up. But after a while I noticed that there is an issue.

My set up when using the Indi is to set MA to true, but I set it to _1_ (close/exponential), which basically means that every bar close outside the box is a signal, today the buy signal was shown (circled) but after a refresh it disappeared and showed a Sell signal. Looking back there are some cases where we have a bar closed outside but no signal, can this be fixed.

I know that the MA is not accurate because can not take the real value but MA close _1_ should not make a difference, am I wrong?

                        Hi xux99,

having the history of the trades in csv will be amazing.

Thanks a lot for the effort.

                          Hi xux99,

                          1) I have an issue, using the EA with renkolivecharts_pimped_v4.13 (not sure if  i post it will I violate some rules), the EA does not want to “cooperate” with it :) ,  is there anything that can be done about it?

                          2) Is there a way to export data from the indicator to excel for example or some kind of data file? What I want to do is to determine the maximum DrawDown, the maximum consecutive loss is a extremely helpful but does differ from MAX DD.

                          Kind regards !

This is great system and EA, have been testing it for some time and really love it.

Since I am a counter trend trader, was wondering if it is possible to insert an option “reverse” or something. The idea is to Sell instead of Buying at the top of the CZ.

As I said I love it, anyway
