Very valid question you have there. What I can do is have the site show the user’s country flag based on the IP. You guys will just have to let me know if anybody starts selling anything. I don’t want this site to have any commercial agenda at all. Later on, if the traffic and load ends up costing me a bit I might end up putting google adsense ads somewhere but that’s all I will be doing in terms of having any commercial content.

Hi,

If the scammer uses another computer the ip address will be different. Considering computers are cheaper as compared to last time. So I think ip detection only works for scammers operating 1 computer only. Plus there’s software to hide ip address also. Pls Correct me if I’m wrong thx.

I support this both 100%..

please put google adsense.. , or even if there’s some ‘Market Maker’ brokerages ask You to put their advertising here..  no problem at all,  because we really believe in You 100%.

But say no to any commercials from members side.. (could you set that ‘admin post/comment’ can not be deleted by thread starter.. so you can put comment/warning to that thread if you suspect something bad..) and later maybe we can create brokerages ‘independence reviews’ sub forum or in blog articles..

To Stop Scammers, Simply ‘warn’ everyone here don’t ever send your hard earned money to others ‘whatever the reasons’.. especially if ‘they’ ask you by private messages 0r e-mail.

 

Well said.  Guys, the scammers have been always around and always will be.  Also in network marketing (or just whatever “marketing” in the real life too) the most used tactic is to conquer the trust of the potential consumer, maybe giving them something for free. It’s just general commerce tactic maybe, in the end.

Ok. This does not mean EVERY person that is a caring person and like to share things/methods/free signals (spending times with newbies etc…) has a hidden agenda to sell something in the future. And anyway it can also happen in the future without a prior planning ..an example:  the most successfull pastry cooks were people that really like what they do and in the past they was doing that just for hobby giving away for free cakes and biscuits to friends and collegues.

What is my point in the end?  The SUPPOSED “protection” FF (or some “shouting crowd”,even senior members there) wanna give us against the scammers, is undued, unwanted and even illegal (since they are slaughtering innocent people and permit people to be slandered ad nauseam in some threads like “the scammers hall of shame”). As i said to a friend that started an infamous thread on FF (with the best intentions but..hey it gone out of hands!) trying to put the “shouting crowd” on the “scamming matter” is really dangerous and has demonstrated to be failing in the past in many societies (like the “Saint” inquisition in the middle age). People is often ignorant, just willing to shout, to vent without not knowing facts or at the very least, twisting them without bad intentions just for the sake to have a witch burned in a public place and get some “supposed justice” for the many injustices we face everyday in real life.Just that.

There are things made for having indagations done and justice respected. It’s called the system ..we all know it does not works very well sometimes, but it’s the best we have. Tranforming everybody in Torquemada wannabe it’s NOT the solution to fight scammers. In FF for example there is the “cleanup” button (know as REPORT button in other forums). You submit it with a supposed “scam red flag” report to mods…if they think is well motivated they should pass it to the managment (admin, FF owner, ect…), and if they think there are the extremes, they should pass this things/reports/allegations to the authorities (and, at the VERY MAX, giving a MOTIVATED TEMPORARY SUSPENSION to the member accused..this not prove anything, but it can be useful for protecting people…then the suspension can be withdraw if authorities don’t find anything or even don’t thing it’s worth to build a case).

This way, reputation, credibility and honesty of FF would be rewarded and people proctected by scammers in the RIGHT WAY every civil democracy allow.

The fact FF does not act this way, but prefer be the sherlock holmes and the jury all in once (without giving neither explanation to some members revoked,like with me), really adds up motivations for thinking they are not doing what they are doing (to innocent people,too) with a “clean” agenda…..

I agree with zero commercials here. My FF old account membership got denied but i create another account and they dont have even ban me again…i mean zero commercial members, selling.  Google ads are great

Saver0, I totally support what Kiads has said. Please use google ads to subsidise the costs of this site as it will only be for everyone’s benefit and less burden on you. There are everywhere else on the net so its not going to bother anyone by them being here.

And agreed, say no to any commercial individuals.

I don’t know.. I just don’t feel right putting any ads on. It’s only costing me a few bucks a month and as for the time, I really enjoy it and I feel honored that you guys are even here. So let me just enjoy that for a while.. haha When there is the need for ads, I will put it on. For now, I just want to feel good about this and I feel grateful to have had the time and the money to do something like this

I don’t know anymore why they do this to me.., but once again please help me, if previously or in the future, you received any personal message from me, by PM or E-mail, would you post it in public immediately and please whatever the reason I say in ‘those’ personal messages  ignore it, and don’t ever send any money at all..

I know this ‘mayfair’ guy from FF, but of course I don’t know at all who he was in reality.. , he send me several PM at FF, but never ask about my ARTS thread, just ask me to become his personal mentor, that for several time i refuse.  even he said he will visit me in Indonesia, that I also refuse. I just say to him that if he want to learn then it will be better if he learn in forum..

But well whatever he said,  it’s up to you to  believed him or not,  and of course ‘here’ you could watch me if there any ‘single word’ that came from my side to ask your help with money involve just post it immediately..
