Hi
I am using the version downloaded from that website.
August 8, 2016 at 10:35 am #12999@sucker
you have to set auto optimisation to
zero then there won’t be any changes in
box range anymore .
August 8, 2016 at 10:40 am #13000…..However, based on reading the thread over at FX factory twice…..
I don’t care how many times you’ve read the SSBO thread. If you didn’t perform the required steps (and you clearly haven’t), then you haven’t yet learned 10% of what you need in order to continue.
Since you seem so unwilling to learn the right steps after many warnings, I now consider you to be a time waster and a troll. I will now ignore you and your idiotic posts, and I hope every one else here does the same.
August 8, 2016 at 11:15 am #13002Hello Dagmar,
many thanks for your message.
My auto optimization is Zero.
The problem is “autoreduze CZ in connection with EMA1”. I have to mention the fact that I test my own EA at the moment with the indicator. Thus it happens that the BoxRange is changed before the open order is closed. Mostly on higher TF (M30, H1). I have already discussed with xux99. A solution is not absolutely necessary. I can live with that. But have spoken with a profi Coder about. When it finds a solution, I’ll put the indicator available. But the Preamble is IFF a solution possible.
PS. Das ist kein Misstrauen gegen die anggierten Coder in diesem Tread. Alle haben meine größte Wertschätzung für ihr engagement.
PS. This is not distrust of the dedicated coders in this Tread. All have my greatest appreciation for their commitment.

Surprise surprise the ‘bitch’ comes out in you again. No wonder most followers of your thread have gotten sick of your arrogant attitude and have given up all together. Your so called method would have been nothing without Xux99’s indicator, it was a sore failure no matter how much you reiterated this to us by cherry picking your trades. The fact you have no patience for your students and your unethical approach to teaching people, or should i say, scolding people shows us all what a cowboy you really are.
August 9, 2016 at 5:11 am #13004Dear Rossbot community,
I have today received the report from the expert coder.
He joins the assessment of xux99.
No change needed. A change affects the strategy and may in the worst case the performans eliminate. In its current form indicator and EA are a successful composition. The permit a profit with the greatest probability.
The following recommendation. The best TF are M15 and H1. Each TF requires its own strategy to optimize profit.
Generally it should be checked after Auto Optimize the performance at the next higher and the next lower TF.
But!!
That is according to Auto Optimize. take parameters from Auto Optimize and Auto Optimize to false. Then check the higher and the next lower TF.
If the next higher and the next lower TF has no negative balance, the determined parameters are stable.
Beginners can check weekly or monthly with Auto Optimize the parameters depending on TF. More experienced members on the market outlook.Depending on the number of failed trades can be with Martingale improve the strategy.
Example:
If only a few faulty trades determined over a longer period, can double the stakes with a limited number. as required by the strategy of the indicator.
If a larger number of failed trades determined, for example 8 failed trades, then Martingale is not activated until after the third or fourth incorrect trades.Another way to improve performance.
With SSBO swing to close the order to a residual of 0.01 Pip.For most Coders I tell certainly nothing new. But I hope I could give new member a few suggestions.
xux99 should again thanked for his brilliant work at this point.

Hopefully the translation program did everything right. It come sometimes the funniest stuff out there.

First, you are not my student. You are a poser, a pretender, a troll and a time waster. I know my students by how hard they work, not by how many excuses and crybaby rants they post online. Second, Xux is my SSBO coder, but I am the SSBO creator. Xux did as I instructed, and we worked on it together for many weeks. So if you like the EA or the SSBO indicator, you’re welcome. Because they are ALL of my personal design, not Xux’s. Third and last, I have plenty of patience for students who deserve it. You just happen to not be one of them. Goodbye.
August 9, 2016 at 6:12 am #13006sorry forexhard when I have not appreciated you in my last post.
Of course, your work the same level of recognition.
That was for me always out of questionThat was unintentional. The appreciation in the last post should refer only to the Progger performance.
August 9, 2016 at 7:26 am #13007Surprise surprise the ‘bitch’ comes out in you again.
You are a poser, a pretender, a troll and a time waster.
I kindly ask both of you to get back to a more appropriate diction. Personal accuses like these remind me of some of the worst threads I know from FF. It would suit this community far better if you could control your emotions to some extent and focus your energy on a contentwise discussion.

August 9, 2016 at 12:37 pm #13008Simplex- note taken.
It is just frustrating how when you come across an obstacle, instead of offering help, you are told to go back to basics, read the same thread over and over again without finding any answers.
NOW CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP:
All I need to know is why I cannot put the MA period 1 onto my platform because this is the ema I see the best backtested results on.
Secondly- when i put the MA period to 1 sometimes even if the bar breaks outside the consolidation box and closes as per my enter filters, the trade does not neccessarily get entered the first break, or it enters abit late into the breakout on the opposite side..Why does this occur? Its a good thing because most of these trades end up hittin SL on the first breakout.
Kind regards,
Roni

August 9, 2016 at 3:15 pm #13010I am trying to establish that if MA 1 is the same as having no MA then why are my backtest reulsts showing extremely impressive numbers when puttin the MA to period 1?
August 9, 2016 at 6:07 pm #13011@ roni
everything you have been asking in this thread has already been answered, perhaps its a language problem to misanderstand the well explained answers to your questions.
1) in Mt4 platform you can use the ema 1 for sure, if yours won
t show it, just change your broker or staying with IG Markets use the Mt4 from them, thats possible as I remember right.Did you set display ema to :TRUE in indicator ?
2) and yes , backtest results with ema1 are very good, but the ema is repainting, so the results may be different to real trading. Slippage is another main reason why backtest results can only have an approximate value. Use higher time frames like m15 , h1 and you` ll find good entry conditions neglecting the ema1. Use auto optimisation first to get a feeling :) for the parameters and then you have to try different settings, but keep it simple!! Try for different das back, 20, 100, 200, 400….. never forget the big picture……
3)may be it enters later because of different real account market conditions as I said before.
When it misses the first trade because of mentioned reasons and the bar reaches the opposite side it is logical that a trade is opened.
Are you German? If so, I can offer you a phone call to explain things a bit better instead of messing this thread up with the same questions all the time.
If you don`t mind….
Dagmar
August 10, 2016 at 7:36 am #13012Hi Dagmar,
Thank you for your response.
Yes i selected display EMA – but nothing shows up. Maybe I have the old version of the SSBO?
I only trade off the H1 chart and using the MA period 1 I have founded exceptional backtest result wins, BUT I am not sure why alot of the times a bar will close outside the box but the trade would not get entered until the other side of of the box OR if a second breakout occurs on the trade set.
I am still struggling to understand why this happens other than ema repainting- could it be an indicator lag?
August 10, 2016 at 7:50 am #13013I have no idea why MT4 standard MA would not work set to period = 1. On my platform, it just shows the raw price according to your choice, without any smoothing. That’s how it should be.
If not: have you tried reinstalling MT4? (Sorry if this has been suggested before, I don’t follow the whole thread).
If there’s an issue with the installation of your platform, you might also try downloading the MT4 standard MA as a custom indicator (see: https://www.mql5.com/en/code/7534). If this does not work either, you at least have a source code to experiment with until it works.
And you can find alternative implementations of MT4 standard MAs on the web which you could try as a replacement for the built-in indicator.
And following Dagmar’s kind offer may be a good choice, too.
Good luck!
s.
EDIT: maybe it would be a good idea to move the ‘MT4 helpdesk part’ dealing with standard indicators that do not work properly to another thread, so this thread can return to its core business.

August 11, 2016 at 10:47 pm #13022HELLO TO ALL,
Am i glad i found this thread, After some success with the naked ssbo system (without indicator) I have a question for you guys out there who have been trading this also.
When we take any trade on providing the break out occurs and at least 2 bars are closed outside the consolidtin box does the TP remain static at 30pips for all first trades? Or is that only for the box size of 30pips so to keep the R:R the same- I.E if a consolidation box of 15 pips was formed then the TP of the first breakout would be 15 also?
I have found that sometimes price doesnt hit the defaut 30 PIP level on first trade and also on the the doubled lot size for the second trade didnt hit in my screenshot attached.
Any advice or was it just a bad trade?
Regards,
Dave

August 16, 2016 at 5:39 am #13043Hi guys,
another two losses for the beginning of the week for me. Struggling to see how this naked ssbo trading system is claimed to have such high success rate. Just breaking even in the last few weeks😅
Couple questions.. How would you guys have handled the attached trade, or was the loss inevitable?

So far from forward testing the naked SSBO system (not indicator) the results have not been so great.
August 16, 2016 at 8:51 am #13048Also guys with the indicator do you advocate martingaling or doubling lot size?
So i have a breakout trade, then break out trade 1, 2 , 3 and finally 4.
I know fxhard also trades this way but is doubling the lot size advised on each loss?
August 16, 2016 at 5:24 pm #13055With all do respect Dave, there are plenty of threads on FF that questions like yours have been addressed. This is more of a continuation. Treat the SSBO thread on FF like google and go searching for your answers there. You are really disrespecting FXH and all the work/years put into sharing to the public.
First things first- many of you are not trading consolidations! Sucker, those are luck trades. Where is your logic?
Timeframe is a a tool but it’s an illusion. Stop saying you get better results on the hourly and such. Focus on finding consolidations! Just understand why the 15 minute was chosen to observe them. you are not looking at single bars/candles so don’t fool yourself. You are less likely to spot true consolidations on the higher timeframes. Understand this!
Read the very first post on SSBO FF and download the guides to study.
CZ “Wait until the market is doing NOTHING” Start there.
How you trade the breakout is your own secret sauce.
DID YOU NOT READ IN THE THREAD THAT YOU SHOULD DO A 100 DAY ANALYSIS TO DERIVE AVERAGE BREAKOUT RANGE?
DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA OF MAX SPREAD, MAX ENTRY DISTANCE, ETC. These would be apart of your own trading rules. WHY ARE YOU ASKING US?
August 16, 2016 at 5:33 pm #13057main reason this is a problem for people- GREED
YOU ARE UNDERFUNDED AND TRYING TO FORCE CONSOLIDATIONS TO APPEAR. Study at the 15K minimum level!
YOU WANT MORE THAN 2 WEEKLY TRADES SO YOU FORCE MORE AND BEGIN TRADING OTHER THAN CZs
