      Hi sucker

Rossbot is copying the ssbo  indi exactly !
The signals don’t look different unless you have slippage or fast market on real account.

what do you mean with false signals?

        :bye: Hi xux99

nice to have some activity again here with Rossbot and the SSBO Indicator! I changed to Mt5 and couldn’t use the EA and Indi anymore. That is really sad because both are really good tools. So my question to you is: Can you program both of them exactly in Mt5 language? Or do you know someone who could do it for little money?
        Regards from Germany from Daggi

              Hello Xux,

could you be so kind and add the following feature.

volceq ea already has the possibility to use a moving average. It is very useful to combine this with candle breakout, because it minimizes false entries and therefore it givs a better performance.

              For instance:

The price (course)  moves above the EMA  (set to 11) and triggers the upper predefined range by the candle => entry is a long trade

and vice versa ,  price moves under EMA  and triggers the lower range by candle => entry is a short trade

Hope you  have the time to do  this little change for me.

…and by the way a little question,  do you invest in cryptos? :-)

@ m35   thats right...   MM doesnt work with EA and Copy Indicator… perhaps XUX can make it work, including the different TakeProfit and Stopploss  setups of the EA???   Could be helpful!!

have a question to the dynamic trailing stopp option..

How has it to be set?

Set to – 0-   means  “off ”   and to – 1 –  means ” on”  ,  or  does it mean  x  pips  or  how often it should trail?

                        thx for an answer :-)

                          phantastic xux!!!  :good:

what about using the copy function ssbo to rb without copying the stopploss and takeprofit just to copy the entry price and then the ea overtakes the trade management…

is this possible when setting the sl , tp in ssbo to zero??? Could be very useful to give this a trial with the new dynamic trailing stopp for catching the longer trends, not only the breakouts for some pips…

By the way copying the trades this way works very good  using H1 timeframe from 10am to 11pm, using for quick take profit the SLMultiplier, AutoOptimize: True and UpdateEveryBar: every day at 12pm…..

                          give it a trial:)

@ sucker   yes thats normal…xux explained it somewhere in posts before… depends on bid and ask …ssbo and ea handle it different

2 different pair of shoes… with rb you can manage your risk with the included MM tool automatically….  SSBO is eyeballing, discretionary trading….

Accuracy depends on you…how you manage your trades or how you find the working setups for rossbot ea…

both ..ssbo and rb are well programmed with many possibilities to trade

I am also having trouble finding the core rules of managing the trade if it goes against you.

Are you a beginner???  Ever heard of risk management?  You plan your trade with TP and SL  and a logic  CRV  , click on ok and let the trade run either in profit or loss. ssbo is only there to support your trading ideas not to be the holy grail….. My advise:  when you made your trade decision , don`t touch the running trade anymore .

core rules to manage trades :   scaling in or out,  pyramidizing , trailing, fixed stopploss, takeprofit   etc.    it is up to you…nobody can help you at this point!!!

What is the main concept behind gaining on trades for the SSBO if it is not the martingale strategy at all???

Dave !!!   To put questions like this is not understandable. did you ever read   FHs thread completely???? ssbo is NOT  a martingale  strategy….that is only an option for professional traders…

In fact there are LOTS of setups WITHOUT Martingale that work….just learn and try

Hi, can you please explain what you mean when you say ‘you can take several trades on each trade set without using martingale’???

MaxTradeSetReversals:  what ever you like, best is 1-3 not more..depends on settings . Set Martingale to : no Martingale…  and the Lotsize remains the same

I want to know on the left hand side of the ema it says recovery trade 1-4… these are doubled up every time of a loss…

you can change Martingale either to Percentage or Multiplication

Multiplication: use only 1.0 to 1.3   and only 1-3 recovery trades    >if you are not experienced enough!!  otherwise  your account will crash quickly!!

and again: you dont need Martingale for trading CZs… a good MM is best to be profitable

…..during the last few pages on the thread this is the practice used in increasing profit, right or wrong?

strange , don`t know what you mean…  read   forexhards  thread again , everything you are asking here is written down there

….and there is no connection between ema and MG and czs     ..... you dont need an ema to trade czs….not at all…. it is even better to trade without emas…

what do you care about Martingale…it is only one tiny part of this system and not at all important….  you can take several trades on each set without using MG  increasing  your profit too…

you can even play with less than 1  ( 0.95 ) for MG setups….   try rossbot  in m15, H1  timeframes and with a reasonable MoneyManagement…that is far more important as this MG…when using MG dont take a factor more than 1.3  and use only up to 3  trades per set...not more..... think about maths and youll see what i mean…

everything you have been asking in this thread has already been answered,  perhaps its a language problem to misanderstand  the well explained answers to your questions.

                                            1) in Mt4 platform you can use the ema 1 for sure, if yours wont show it, just change your broker or staying with IG Markets use the Mt4 from them, thats possible as I remember right.

Did you set   display ema to :TRUE  in indicator ?

                                            2) and yes , backtest results with ema1 are very good, but the ema is repainting, so the results may be different to real trading. Slippage is another main reason why backtest results can only have an approximate value. Use higher time frames like m15 , h1 and you` ll find good entry conditions neglecting the ema1. Use auto optimisation first to get a feeling  :)  for the parameters and then you have to try different settings, but keep it simple!! Try for different das back, 20, 100, 200, 400….. never forget the big picture……

3)may be it enters later because of different real account market conditions as I said before.

When it misses the first trade because of mentioned reasons and the bar reaches the opposite side it is logical that a trade is opened.

Are you German? If so, I can offer you a phone call to explain things  a bit better instead of messing this thread up with the same questions all the time.

you have to set auto optimisation  to

zero then there won’t be any changes in

                                              box range anymore .

sorry roni, but there really is no need to shed some more light on ssbo concerning to the ema 1….. believe me…the ema is only a little part of the system, use your eyes and brains and  ssbo as a support….market conditions are changing quickly in these times…read forexhards thread again, he explained everything very good…..by the way the backtest results without ema 1 are NOT horrible, you only have to adjust the other parameters  and again  ema period 1 is the LINECHART of mt4  ….so where is the problem at all???

try it out: the ema 1 is exactly the line chart in mt4 ,logically it is the close of the candle in the given time frame of the chart….. you should know how moving averages work than you understand :)  I am interpreting your questions to the ema1 as follows: there is a difference in live trading and backtesting with the ema…right?   may be it is a little confusing, but  xux explained it a few posts before and as i think he brought it exactly to the point…  in simple words :  ema is just repainting…

try settings without buffer, ema and minbar..try the auto optimize function to find settings for momentum trades or lets say breakouts directly out of the box with a maximum of  25 pips  or less in 5 or 15 min chart.....therefore you wont have the problem with lagging or repainting parameters and it will give good results too :)  with this method you always catch some pips..use a trailing stop at once the trade is in a winning zone …  a different way using ssbo is in higher time frames as h1 ,  here the ema doesn`t really matter so much. Be aware of slippage !! too….. the backtest will not show you this . So using not ssbo but rossbot ( ea) you have to calculate this. Anyway it is the  best to foreward testing ssbo  and rossbot   …..

by the way it is absolutely essentiell to see the big picture, support /resistance etc. in higher time frames when using ssbo discretionary , than you will be successful with this real good system.
